I purchased Taz as a 4 year old from Germany. He was the best thing i could do to assist my son achieve his dream. He had the talent he needed the horse. Unfortunately this  dream ended and I found myself in a very stressful situation i have to say I never thought would happen. I was left with a note asking me to find Taz a new home.
Taz was attended by a vet just prior to this event and I was left with this beautiful horse in a state of concern. He had lost so much muscle since the earlier part of the year, he was stressed through being left in a stable whilst all the other horses in the yard were out. No words can describe how worried I was for his welfare. The career gone and i was left with a dressage horse unsalable and I could not re train myself as I do not ride. Years of watching my son’s training had taught me what looked right but how to get it there well.. it was beyond me.
My daughter and I could do all we could to make sure he re started the correct feeding routine and stable management but I needed help.
Jade offered!  to take Taz and get him back onto the right path again to enable me to try and re home once Taz was fit well and on his way back to where he had been.
He was moved to her yard and almost straight away relaxed into a routine in which he was so happy. The stress was removed quite quickly.
After some weeks, once weight started to be re gained Jade decided to try and start his re training. But due to lack of muscle from not
being trained and ridden regularly for some time an old injury sustained as a 5 year old raised its head. This had previously been fine , the injury had
mended and muscle built correctly over the weakened area. I always knew it would be a weakness, but fine if muscle correctly maintain,  he would be once again strong and safe from further injury. Jade slowly , slowly and correctly began the long road, weeks of careful gentle training. Walking out in hand to start then lunge then ,After some weeks progress was heading in the right direction, lameness left Taz and he was looking much better weight and muscle going back where it  where it was required.

All I wanted from all of this was a good home where I knew Taz would thrive and be cared for. He deserved that .
Soon a potential buyer came and as haggard as it was I was lucky enough to have found a fabulous home for him.
I have not hesitation in recommending Jade to anyone. She is a well balanced professional and very knowledgeable Trainer / Rider.
Jade always does what is best for the horse and works with the horse to achieve remarkable results. Her personality allows her to show her caring and sensitive side at the same time being strong enough and firm enough to say exactly what she knows is the best method yet  still able to willingly to try alternative methods should it be required.
I would like to say thank you Jade for everything you so well handled for me and more importantly for Taz. I know he has recovered from the trauma he went through and is happy in his new home.
Anyone who reads this testimonial should be aware that considering Jade for training horse or rider would be making a good move. Even though I do not ride I do know enough and  recognize when someone does things right.
Again Thank you Jade From Taz and myself, you achieved a huge result for us both

I have a Highland Pony called Bharron and over the years my interest in riding has turned to dressage.  My horses stay with me for life and so when my interest turned more towards dressage there was no way my pony was being sold for a dressage model so we began training together with modest expectations.  When I went in search of a dressage saddle for him the results were varying.  One equestrian shop laughed at me and told me "good luck finding one to fit".  Another who came to the yard I had him at livery took one look at him and said you will have to have a made to measure whilst walking away from me without offering to measure him as though we didn't stand a chance anyway, and would not pay the £2000.00 required for such an article.  Eventually after some training we took part in our first test - having difficulty with a right lead canter ever since I had him I was pleased just to have got out there and gone through the paces.   Bharron didnt like his training that much and used to throw regular bucking tantrums - showing a particularly good aptitude for levade when my son got on him and tried to help me get him into a nice outline!!  The levade move was performed perfectly twice in slow motion at exactly the same spot in the arena whilst he eyeballed me as if to say if you push me this hard this is what you will get.  I decided we needed a new teacher enter Jade - she has no class distinction in what equine breed is appropriate for dressage and set me up with a saddle fitter within the week.  That saddle fitter came and the first dressage saddle placed on Bharron's back fitted perfectly and was so comfortable for both of us I bought it.  In our training Jade has been completely sympathetic and tuned into Bharron's training needs, capabilities and abilities tailoring the training perfectly for both of us - henceforth we no longer have a rodeo show to delight any audiences no more astonishi
